Pronoun (Pronomen) in German/Deutsch Language


 Ich - I

(Ich used in German instead of I in English)

For Example(zum Beispiel)-

        Ich bin traurig. - I am sad.

        Ich liebe dich. - I love you.

        Ich liebe meine Eltern. - I love my parents.

        Ich hasse dich. - I hate you.

        Ich mag dich. - I like you.

        Ich vermisse dich. - I miss you.


Du  -  You (Informal)

Sie -  You (Formal)

(As in English we used you or in Hindi we used आप or तुम same in German we use Du and Sie , Du used for तुम and Sie used for आप)

For Example(zum Beispiel)-

 

         Du bist wunderschön. - You are very beautiful.

         Sie sind wunderschön. - You are very beautiful.



 

Er - He

(In English for male person we used he just as usual in German language we used Er (for male person)


For Example(zum Beispiel)-

        Er ist Wissenschaftler. - He is a scientist. 

        Er liebt dich. - He loves you.       Er mag sie. - He likes her.


Es  - It

(we used It in English for no-living things same in German we used Es)


For Example(zum Beispiel)-

        Es ist ein Stift. - It is a pen.




Sie - She

(For Female pronoun in English we used She and in German used Sie)


For Example(zum Beispiel)-

        Sie isst zu Mittag(Golgappe). -

        She eats lunch/(Golgappe). 

        Sie hasst dich. - She hates you.       Sie vermisst ihn. - She misses him.


Wir - We

(In German for first person plural pronoun we used "Wir" instead of "We")

For Example(zum Beispiel)-

          Heute gehen wir ins Kino.

          Today we are going for movie.



Ihr -You guys ( Sita and you)

(For 2nd person plural pronoun in German we used "Ihr" instead or "You Guys" & "You all")

For Example(zum Beispiel)-


Ihr kommt am Montag um 9 Uhr ins Büro.

            You guys come to the office on monday at 9 a.m.



Sie -  They ( sita and Annu)

(For 3rd person plural "Sie" used in German instead of "They")

For Example(zum Beispiel)-

                Sie sind sehr intelligent. - They are very smart.
